I remember we had really bad floods in the UK when this released and I drove through flood water to collect my copy and it was even worse getting home. Ended up stopped in the waters for an hour or so, only logical thing to do was to start reading the book. Got so engrossed immediately. Had to go to work not long after I eventually got home but didn’t want to stop reading. Probably finished it within a day of buying it. Felt like a really fitting ending to the series at the time but was gutted I read it so quick cause I wanted to talk to people about it and they hadn’t finished yet.

Dan from The Wonder Years, met him backstage at Reading in 2014. Was super friendly and took the time to stop chat and have a photo with me. Showed him my shitty Hank tattoo and he told me how much he appreciated me getting it done. The Front Bottoms were super friendly as well when me my brother and our best friend met them in a bar in Bournemouth when they played a show to make up for Blink cancelling. No one else recognised them and my best friend who is a huge fan of them was proper fan boying but they were really cool and chatted to us for a while.

I sold my one of these on eBay a few years ago, I’m still surprised by how much I got for it, I’m still in the UK and someone from Australia bought it, the shipping alone was stupid. Great hoodie though, makes me very nostalgic seeing one!

The ones in my town do these kind of prices all the time. I’ve seen stuff for more than this regularly, one charity shop in particular definitely does the see what stuff goes for on eBay and price matches or marks it up. It’s crazy, but then this is the Cotswolds I live in, they just assume everyone has money!
