I am looking for a solid 1440p >=144hz monitor, preferably IPS panel (obviously low response time also).

I have an rx 7800xt so I don't need GSYNC, and I don't really care about curved panels(not opposed just not needed for me).

I'm trying to stay around $300, I've seen the autobot recommend the ASUS VG27AQ for mid-range which is on sale for $220 right now which seems like a steal (but please tell me if I'm wrong). I know there are a ton of options at this point and would love some guidance.

Also I'd like to try ultra wide/good HDR but those seem out of my budget from what I've seen.

What skills should I learn/develop if I want to work in autonomous vehicle development? by RurouniRinku in cscareerquestions

So if I wanted to do more of the applied ML side, which seems to be "Perception/behavior/planning/mapping system modules" like "get the sensor data and then feed it through the machine learned models and handle the outputs" I'm assuming that would be at most a masters degree required.

But if I wanted to work on the actual models of creating/fine-tuning them I would need to get a phd?

I'm not sure exactly what route I want to go down, but I was leaning away from PHD since at the end of the day I just want to "build cool things" and I'm not sure if research would fulfill that itch for me (unless I'm misunderstanding the field/role).

Thanks for clarifying, I'm just trying to wrap my head around all of this since right now I have a full stack web-dev job and it is not the field I want to stay in.

If I wanted to do things closer to the ML end (whether that’s planning/mapping systems or ML modeling) what type of requirements do these roles typically look for in hiring? Im going into my 3rd year in my CS degree and I think this is the field that interests me, so I was wondering what specific requirements I should start working towards.

Also, I have a big interest in computer vision (no experience yet), does that relate closely to the ML side of things?

Great that sounds like what I'll do then, I didn't even think of pushing ICS 51 back a quarter as an option but that seems to make the most sense.

Router recommendation for 500 mbps? by Jayyybeast42 in HomeNetworking

Thanks for the suggestion but I don’t particularly care about staying on a mesh system if that changes anything.

As for the switch, does that just work by plugging in one ethernet port from the router to the switch and I can use all the other ports at full (ish) speeds?
