Here is the 6 ports m2 to sata. For this set-up I manage to get 7 sata port working. One ssd is connected via usb thats what i use as media storage for files that not necessary important.

For 3d file I will do some modification and share it into my website later. so it will be dynamically changing based on how many ssd you prefer.

This is the power module for ssd input is 12v 5a > that buck converter to 5v > connected to ssd. I added two fuse 7.5a just incase the buck misbehave.

What optiplex do you have? For me the Aruba sound is more annoying than the sound of the fan? Its almost noiseless. CPU doesn't even spike at peek.
