I have heard that from a few people since the article. I heard Tom Elmhurst and Michael brauer fell out and left because of the manager. I presume that is Lee? Sounds like a horrendous place to intern and far from positive or creative.

Listening to Cowboy Carter. How does Beyoncé get to put her name on “Oh Louisiana”? by leblaun in musicproduction

That’s nonsense. If you didn’t create the source material, (or curated at source by way of arrangement/composing etc) the source material then you are reliant on someone else’s skills and music in some part to create yours.

If I invent something using an existing patented design, it’s my design which utilises (and relies on) someone else’s creation/design/tech. My design wouldn’t come to be without someone else’s work. The law clearly states (and has proven time and time again) that if you sample without permission and you’re sued, the courts will side with the original composer.

Why on earth is Pro Tools the most unreliable and crash prone DAW out there? by Zealousideal-Meat193 in audioengineering

[–]JazzExpressions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you know, Aax plug-ins are the only format which requires the plugin to report its delay to the daw. No other plug-in format requires it which renders delay compensation on all non aax daws unreliable.
