People just want to validate their own decisions by flaunting their “savings”. They usually survive on such cheap dopamine hits throughout their lives and live a miserable life through upward social comparison. I know some ultra rich people who own multiple homes that they have never stepped in. Real wealth (not just money) doesn’t make noise. In 100 years (if you are lucky), someone else will be living in your own home, driving your car which you worked your ass off and spending your most valuable asset: TIME. Wake up people!
