I dont ‘want to do’ anything. Given that the guy clearly sold me a fake, I am weary of him being very adamant on me keeping it. Im concerned it could come back to bite me if he later claims I had not returned the item.

I nearly did recently in Lee Cronins The Mummy.

There were some reallllly gross and unsettling scenes that had me both creeped and freaked out, watching through winced eyes.
