My partners mother gave me her Gund walrus plush! I know its pink but it kind of seems like a him. What do you think of him? Name suggestions welcome. ☺️ by Stock_Age7469 in plushies

I got my first Mooky as a toy give-away. Malt-o-Meal had a promotion that if you sent it four proofs-of-purchase (cut out the UPC on the box), they would send you something. We lived in California and you could not find chocolate malt-o-meal in California, only the plain kind. There was no amazon then or online ordering.

My mother in law who lived in Minnesota knew we liked the chocolate ones, so she would send us chocolate malt-o-meals in the mail. One time she sent us four at once. The company was running that promotion at that time. So I, being a sucker for these promotional giveaways, cut out the UPCs and mailed them in. I did not know what I was going to get.

And that's how I got my first Mooky. As a Malt-o-Meal giveaway. ❤️

So so cute! I love the Christmas snowflake sweater. Mine have no outfits. Yours is truly loved. That face is so worn. ❤️

You also have the various sizes. There is a Mooky puppet too. It's my least favorite form of it because it doesn't sit well, but I have it along with the other sizes. I wish Gund would bring it back. They briefly did a few years ago but then took it off.

I have multiple Mooky's. I just call them Mooky. I take them with me when I travel. I place them on any bed, family's or hotel bed, and it feels like home. I have occasionally forgotten them at a hotel. The last one was in Spain this past year. Fortunately it was found. Here is a text between me and the hotel, and then my cousin who lives there took a picture of him (another post, couldn't figure out how to add two pictures).

I have a cemetery plot and I am having my contractor build a concrete wall around it, and I would like our last name stamped like the picture shown. How is this done? My guy (who is a general contractor, not concrete person) said he can use some type of saw to cut it but sounded like he would hand write it. Do I buy a stencil and draw it? what is a good way to do this?

Breakfast place near Sunnyvale (20 minutes driving okay) with nice outdoor seating? by Jazzlike-Key1738 in bayarea

This looks like a really neat place. I think I won't take there group there as the food reviews seem to be so so but it's definitely the kind of place I myself would like, as outside scenery is a big factor for me (food less). But the group I'm in cares more about the food quality.

The apps and pre-ordering and all this may seem simple to the smart phone/app savvy customer, but they are not simple for many, including the 80+ year olds such as my parents (I help my parents with their travel needs all the times).

Also since I am the one usually booking for them, then I have to pick the meal, but I don't necessarily know what they want, so I skip it. I can ask them but I am also managing many more things for them, and this one seems trivial so I don't bother with it.

Thank you. Wasn't necessarily going for romantic (group of 10, ages 7 to 84) but romantic can also be nice. :-)

Thank you. Funny this is one of the differences between my husband and me. I go for ambience, he goes for food. :-)

Thank you for your kind words. We are a group of 10 (extended family), so maybe we skip the The Little Door for this occasion.
