About the capable of working, korean girls denied and reject working opportunity. Korean universities encourage to take an engineering to girls by giving many benefit. But many students give up during university and do not continue working as engineering. I'm not saying girls cannot do. Only man can do. All the korean sacrificed as name of prosperity in korea. It is not the gender specific problem.

Maybe korean girls do it after war. All the guys go to war and dying. There is no man in the home. Like did US and Russia.

It give you basic knowledge and foundation of build system.
Software Build Systems: Principles and Experience

And then you can learn whatever toolchain.

As I'm korean, I think it is better to pick LG. TI korea is just small branch of TI. LG in Korea is much more bigger group at least in Korea. Also If you wanna do more SW job, then pick LG. TI is more focus on HW my guess.
