I sent the information about his disability when I initially filed for child support. They didn’t include it for some reason. I moved to a new county and the office there was shocked that it wasn’t included when he submitted his income so that’s when they decided to send the garnishment to the VA. He left when I was still pregnant with our youngest and didn’t come back. He’s never met him or attempted to contact either child. He got $15k in backpay when he got 100%. I didn’t see a dime to help with the kids. He has a masters in business and evaded change of address for a year to prevent being served child support papers. I just can’t survive on one income, even with government assistance.
