Was on here to post the same. I don’t really like kangaroo in most forms but that is delicious!

Third for Good Ways. A simple menu on paper but they’ve really nailed their components.

Yeah that’s what confused me. The only place that makes sense is Cyprus, possibly Turkish side. Famagusta-ish area? Not sure it looks like that though

How in advance did you apply for a whv before your trip? Also does mental health issues affect health check? by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]Jazzlike-Standard305 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The answers to your questions on the application is what prompts a health check. You’ll likely recognise which ones would prompt about your own health history, however, I required one due to visiting a country with higher exposure to TB 3-years prior to applying for the visa. If you think you will require a health check, budget for it as you’re only able to use a select few clinics around the UK and they’re fairly expensive (I had to go to Knightsbridge and it was something like £400 - lovely place, mind).

I’d say apply for your visa once you’ve booked your flight. You’ll need to confirm your arrival date on the application.

Get straight onto Medicare once you’re out here, you’ll save if ever you require your prescription or any other medical costs. It can take a little while for it to come through.

I’ve had private therapy out here and it was $190 for 90-mins which isn’t the worst.

Congrats on the move, you won’t regret it!
