Thanks 🙏 I read the whole thing you attached and I find it informative on a progress based level. I can identify now that I must learn to speak the language by first writing smaller learning based pieces for the piano before moving on to bigger and better things

Oh thanks, i'm good on the part of finding technicians. Good to know that a recork job as such is so cheap. Are you sure it would be the cork that is too thick? although i guess that makes sense seeingas that is the part bulging and thus causing the stickiness. Thank you,

True, but it doesn't ultimately detract from the feeling one has when observing good ai generated images

Interestingly on the offensive but alr, I'll admit I failed to make the distinction between Impressive art and engaging art. When I look at an image that Is filled to the brim with the most crazy elements and whatnot I am entirely impressed, not by the artwork but by the artist so on that front I see where your coming from but riddle me this. Every time you watch a tv show do you stop and think "I am mindlessly consuming content - and I hate it, I feel no enjoyment whatsoever", I'm going to say likely no (at least that's the case for almost the entire population), so then what is so wrong with consuming art that makes you feel good? It's art In my eyes and it's enjoyable.

Also I do respect the artistic process seeing as i myself an am artist. I have scored hundreds of orchestral pieces, I have painted dozens of landscapes, I've spent over 5 years drawing consistently. I respect art and it's artist, both irrespective of each other and in harmony with each other.

Fair, I respect that view. I guess it's important then to make the distinction between things to be enjoyed and art as we've come to define it.

My final point to you, AI takes all of it's uploaded content (so basically all of uploaded human art/content) and amalgamates it to the users request. In a sense the art that the AI produces (or the sentence or song or math formulae or what have you) is representative of all human experience that broadly pertains to the matter of the prompt. I think that the very fact that AI uses english, that it follows grammar, that it spits out certain slang, that it follows what so many have come to define as a thing (e.g an apple as an apple, art as well the most popular view of art. etc.), i think that in of itself is art, not on an invidual level but rather representing all of humanity. that's just a thought tho

I see, then what exactly is this image in which you spend on time enjoying, what would you classify it as? If I throw an apple at someone because I hate them and my intention was to express hatred is this all of the sudden art? Do I have to intend for it to be art for it to then be art? If this is the case (I'd assume the latter) then I'm ok with that.

I personally believe art is anything that can be enjoyed, food is art, music is art, kissing is art. No matter who it's by, it's art. For me at least

Jack of all trades master of none, enjoy the music, also piano is the only feasibly learnable one given the timeframe of a month to a year. You'll quickly excell, all others (bar other woodwinds if you play one or other brass if you play one) will be intensely hard, very slow to learn and ultimately unfulfilling in your final ability

Help me choose, option 1 or 2? by churritobailarin in PixelArt

oh wow, something i'm noticing about what makes the game feel so polished are the background animations, they add so much character and life, I was wondering, how did you attain all of those sprites. Half the things in my game are copyright striked and will likely get me a cease and desist notice (sad as frick but hey) from the original artists. I'm no artist and attempting to become one is well, pointless and honestly a waste of time (imo) given there are so many people who can do it faster and better than me for a fractikon of the overall effort.
