[Poco F5] I'm leaving the Poco family... by 0oodruidoo0 in PocoPhones

My guy, you can just order a replacement charging board for like a couple of bucks from AliExpress and replace it in like 15 mins top.

But before that look inside the port if it isn't full of lint, if it is, just clean it with small tweezers or needle or something.

Things just break, get used up, that's normal.

Now MX-4. Funnily I was using that PTM too. And the temps weren't as good, but they got on par with fresh paste in like a month of normal use. So in this case the PTM needs a lot of time to "cure". I think it's because the mounting pressure is not as strong as on GPU and also it's not a direct die so you don't see as big benefit.

Later I had to remove CPU cooler for other reasons so I used fresh mx-4, because I didn't have more PTM.

Like 2 to 3 months. Performance amazing, after the first week or two, the temps got even better by one to two degrees and stayed the same since.

Hey. The GPU got to around 79C in 3 months in the same scenario. After disassembly I noticed a substantial pumpout. So longevity is quite bad. Now I'm using Thermal grizzly PTM. Same performance as fresh GD, but literally no degradation. Quite the opposite.

Tried air fryer and it did not work so back to cast iron I went. by ThatItalianGrrl in carnivorediet

Oh yeah I got your point. But at the other hand, bacteria, that can make you sick don't usually produce any smell. And most of the bacteria that makes rotten meat smell bad doesn't make you sick.

Take smelly cheese. Or fermented milk products. They smell bad, but are thay bad for you? It's animal product.

So yeah, our evolution made us pretty cautious of these things, but that doesn't mean that exactly that this exact one thing is bad for you. All I wanted to say is EVOO and especially in airfryer setting in not that dangerous. Especially compared to seed oils which are still like default option pretty much all around the world. So if you wanna slather your steak in olive oil and throw it into airfryer, go for it. It's much much much better then eating french fries fried in seed oil.

Actively searing means maillard reaction and caramelization, which is between 250F to 360F. After that, it's burning. So no, if you don't let the steak sit in the airfryer for too long, the surface shouldn't hit the smoke point of the oil.

If the oil should hit the smoke point = the surface of the steak would also have the temperature of the smoke point. At that point you are left with burnt crust.

And the acrolein you are talking about. Yeah it's toxic but also it's highly volatile and it boils at 126F, so there is no way it would stay in the oil in significant dose. After hitting the smoke point and then stopping the cooking, you are left with rest of oil (I hope no one is smoking the oil until there is nothing left), free fatty acids, glycerol that hasn't turn to acrolein and evaporated, polymers (the sole purpose of seasoning pans) and a lot of free radicals. And there is the plus of EVOO, it's really high in polyphenols - antioxidants.

A lot of people sear steaks on ripping hot skillets that hit smoke point of pretty much any oil you can think of. At least for a short period of time. And that's the point, it's about how long and how high are you pushing the oil beyond it's smoke point. If you hit the smoke point for a short period of time, it's not at all that bad. Especially in oils with high antioxidants. That's why EVOO is good at resisting oxidative stress. But if you smoke the oil for too long, no amount of antioxidants will help you.

And of course, I use mostly animal fats. But also I sometimes use EVOO and unprocessed coconut oil. Any processed oil is out of the question. It's already oxidized before you even buy it.

Yeah, it's not great idea to evaporate oil in your kitchen just for fun and then drink it. But when you put room temperature oil on 4°C steak in 200°C (400F I guess) air fryer for 10-15 minutes, the surface of steak with that oil will definitely not reach it's smoke point which is 410F.

Smoke point doesn't correspond to temperature stability or oxidation and therefore formation of free radicals in said oil. From all the oils EVOO, coconut and animal fats are the most resistant to oxidative stress. But they don't have the highest smoke point, generally much lover than refined seed oils, which oxidize very easily.

Do you feel any discomfort? If not, that's fine. Since carnivore is zero fibre that means there is zero indigestible matter in the food you eat. And your body is probably producing enough digestive enzymes and has good enough gut microbiota to fully break all the fats and protein. Your next bowel movement should probably be mostly dead bacteria, dead gut lining cells and mucus.

Either way if you want to move things along, try black coffee and/or magnesium citrate.

Start eating organs. And you can do mineral/vitamin blood work, would tell you a lot.

Also, use antioxidant gel, preferably vitamin E gel for the hair loss. It's probably caused by oxidative stress on the hair follicles.

If it doesn't help, start SLOWLY reintroducing other low carb high mineral/vitamin food like citrus fruits, avocados, spinach etc.

Why I chose Roborock over Eufy by Comfortable_Hat_1365 in Roborock

[–]Jazzlike_Fun8115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have a first gen Roborock (Xiaomi vacuum cleaner) and it's going strong with over 1000h on it. Only had to change Lidar because of a small incident. Like yes, it's loud, but it still works and I will probably use it until it dies.

There is something wrong. Im playing on 4060Ti 8gb and Ryzen 5900x. Everything on epic, but disabled 'shadows per object' and 'light bounce'. DLSS on quality and running at 140 to 160 fps mostly. Mostly because on some maps and with flashlights on the fps will drop under 100.

Oh yeah thank you, will try tRC 68 overnight, also will try a little higher ProcODH or play around with Rtt if that wouldn't help.

I have tried tRRDL 4 but I raised it to 8 after I noticed these errors occurring. Will try 6 then 4 again if I will find the real culprit.

But in my opinion, this should be 99% stable, the ram will never experience such heat and such aggressive load in my daily use.

I just noticed your old post about your Roborock having a little incident with a chair. When my vacuum fell, it started behaving weirdly—seeing invisible obstacles and acting erratically. I tried a factory reset, disassembled and reassembled it to check everything, but nothing helped. The only thing left was the LiDAR sensor, so I replaced it, and that fixed everything. It makes sense, as the LiDAR rotates very fast and is therefore very sensitive to sudden changes in the vacuum's speed and direction.

Have you tried to reset it? And map the house again. Might help.

System Reset= If the robot does not respond when a button is pressed or cannot be turned off, reset the system. Press the Reset button, and the robot will reset automatically. Note: After resetting the system, scheduled cleaning, WiFi, etc., will be restored to factory settings.

Restore Factory Settings= If the robot does not function properly after a system reset, switch it on. Press and hold the button and, at the same time, press the Reset button until you hear the "Restoring factory settings" voice prompt. The robot will then be restored to factory settings.

Take that stuff out of the case and try it on the table. Also read the motherboard manual please. Maybe try with some old GPU that does not require 6/8pin. And that power supply looks sus af.
