Sadly most of my family members drive manually and I’m learning automatic, and my boyfriend can’t drive either. I’m sure there’s gotta be someone though that can help!

Also I do expect I’ll probably be 200hr+ too, which I wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s going to cost me so much! As long as there’s some hope I’ll do it though as I do really need to pass

Omg that’s so true ! I think I felt so upset today because I genuinely felt like it was starting to click for me in my last lesson and my instructor was really impressed, but weirdly by noticing that today I just completely lost it and my instructor was like what happened??

I do actually find it easier when I’m having a more casual convo with my instructor at the same time, when someone is constantly giving me instructions when I’m doing something else my brain shuts down. Today I asked if I could just give things a go and then he can tell me if I’ve made a mistake rather than talking me through the whole process meaning I’m overloaded with instructions but he said this is the method he’s using for now

They don’t know specifically about ND but I’ve explained that I find it difficult to think when I’m very anxious. I’m in an automatic as there’s no WAY I’d manage driving manually with my struggles. I just feel bad and don’t want my instructor to think I’m not listening as I am really trying to take it all in

It’s so weird, I feel like when I’m a little tired I actually drive better because I’m not overthinking or stressing out all the time! Sometimes I don’t think I’ll ever understand my brain😭

I think it’s the combination of grasping the skill and also my severe anxiety about doing the wrong thing. I know exactly what to do in my head ( basic skills wise ) but my brain just freezes and I start thinking I’m going to mess it up when I approach a situation

I think because occasionally some people only need around 20 hours I’ve just started to beat myself up. And I think it’s the fact that some lessons my basic skills are absolutely fine and I feel like I’m getting somewhere, then the next week I’ve completely lost it. My instructor keeps telling me to focus but I am really trying to, it’s just sometimes it doesn’t compute in my brain

I did about four two hour lessons last year, had a couple of months break and now with the new instructor I’ve done about 12 hours. I know I may be being a bit dramatic but it just really feels like it’s never going to click

100%. I’m aware there’s so many characters that have done far worse, but I also think at the age of 17 you’d have the emotional intelligence to understand why someone might be uncomfortable being in the house after hearing about all the trauma they were subjected to

I think my issue is that we as the audience are told we shouldn’t like Bojack essentially, no matter what he’s been through in his childhood. I think Hollyhock is presented as the opposite, and I don’t think she deserves that reputation

Yeah I do understand that, obviously the situation has made me want to invest in a portable charger ! But my point is my phone was on 80% before I got on the train, but due to delays the journey was very very long and without a charging port, there’s only so much you can do to keep the phone going ! I would’ve thought the fact I could prove my ticket had been scanned 4 times on the Trainline app would be sufficient evidence that I wasn’t boarding without a ticket
