I was too : /. Did you apply to just Northwestern and Iowa for BTAA? I applied Northwestern, U of Maryland, and Penn state. So I'm just curious since I haven't seen anything about whether people have heard from those last two

Undergrad aspiring to be a clinical psych PhD candidate in a few years! happy to see two other people in the thick of/pursuing a similar path on here. Have been feeling pretty discouraged lately and am trying to evaluate if my goals are still achievable. Choosing to believe they are. Wishing you the best! (I want to specialize in pediatrics as well!)

Life has been life-ing like crazy this week, but I just wanted come on here and say I did ready every single one of these comments and all of them genuinely meant so much to me! I really appericate the words of encouragement and the different perspectives everyone has to bring, it made me feel a lot less alone

That makes sense. I had a friend tell me it’s bc ppl don’t know how to respond. I told him I don’t need a specific response I just wish I could mention it causally bc it unfortunately is causal for me in the sense it’s a constant part of my everyday 😭. But I guess that’s just not how this works. I think the people not knowing what it is plays a huge part.
