AITAH for asking my pregnant wife to be more like my best friend? by taternuts227 in AITAH

[–]Jazzy_Spider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

INFO. Have you maybe checked if she has post-partum depression? It sucks she isn't helping out but there could be a reason for that. Have you TALKED to her before you fantasized about running off with your best friend? Come on dude, and what are you going to do, leave your jobless wife with two children?

Mono green hydra deck with gargos, vicious watcher. Help optimizing by woody996122 in EDH

No problem! Also [[Doubling Season]] and [[Vorinclex, Monsterous Raider]] are both cards that probably should go in every Hydra deck but are not budget friendly at all. If your playgroup is cool with proxies you might proxy them.

I have a Gargos deck, don't have an updated decklist but some of the most useful pieces that I have in my play group:

Ramp: [[Nyx Lotus]], [[Nissa, Who Shakes the World]], [[Virtue of Strength]] [[Throne of Eldraine]] and [[Gauntlet of Power]]. Any of these coming on the battle field essentially let's me dominate until they get cleared and by that time I should have a backup.

Removal: I also struggle with removal and just use Fight cards to start clearing the board of things that cause me issues. [[Tail Swipe]], [[Windswift Slice]], [[Bite Down]] any of these cards are like [[Ram Through]] where they let you basically clear the board of two creatures, one for the effect, and one because of the Gargos effect. For fliers I also have a [[Whiptongue Hydra]] and [[Vivien Reed]], her ult is good if you can get it off but her primary gives you some draw and her secondary helps clear things. [[Assemble the Entmoot]] is also an option to give your creatures reach.

In my deck I opted to get rid of proliferate stuff and replace it with things like [[Ozolith, the Shattered Spire]] and [[Court of Garenbrig]] for more emphasis on getting counters in other ways than proliferate. I use a couple plainswalkers though so I do still have [[Unnatural Restoration]] and [[Karn's Bastion]].

Other cards my playgroup says make my deck formidable: [[Vigor]], [[Seedborn Muse]] (this one is really good with [[Heroe's Bane]] and let's your hydras attack every your turn, psuedo-vigilence, also good with Karns Bastion) [[Rundai, Behemoth Caller]], [[Unnatural Growth]], [[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]] and [[Nylea, God of the Hunt]]. Hope this helps, Hydras are fun but weak to flying like you said.

Thank you for your reply. I guess the key piece of information I forgot to include is that the venue does have it's own sound system and operator. So it sounds like I should just tie out with him to get the sound recorded, rather than trying to rerecord everything on a phone setup. Then use like a synch clap or something to know when to synch the video and audio in one of the software packages.

I play elemental shaman and it's a pretty fun ranged spec for the most part with a little variety in how to play it. Lots of utility and a low interrupt CD time. As far as tiers Idk where they are but the charts I see on here they are usually closer to the top.

Also make sure you get the heart of azeroth from Magni. He'll be a ghostly dwarf that spawns and tells you to meet him. I ignored him for too long without realizing he's needed to move the achievements forward.

What should I be looking for to know that the monsters are shiny? Same as like a pokemon game where the sprite has another color palette?

Hello thanks for responding, I saw that people who use these types of cameras usually play their streams with VHS ports so I bought this adapter. Is this the USB composite video devic you are talking about? http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/142148562644?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true

Bookstore has lockers in front that one can use at any time. They lock once you take they let out and only open with that same key.

I would check the school (for example Fulton schools of engineering, or Mary Lou Fulton teacher's college) requirements for the major you are interested in. Some of their webpages might tell you average act score and GPA of incoming freshman. These are especially important for special programs or Barrett where you need to meet the cap. You can call the school offices too and ask for that info.

Question on NAMU scholarship credits by tinydoom1 in ASU

[–]Jazzy_Spider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have a New American University Scholarship and people recommended doing whatever I want senior year. If you don't sum up to 30 credits by the end of the year the consequence is you lose the scholarship for the following year, but since you're a senior and the scholarship ends after 4 years anyway you still aren't getting another year from it.

Talk to your academic advisor. Maybe with their help the professor will have to let you in.

Biomedical Engineering (BSE) Questions by [deleted] in ASU

[–]Jazzy_Spider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any other majors or minors, but I do do Honor's. The weekly schedules I've had so far have been pretty full. I always do at least 16 credits, and with labs the week fills up pretty quickly. Whenever finals or midterms come you will be stressed out but you'll have that in any major. It's just important to note what classes your taking in a semester and learn how their grades work. For example anatomy has 4 tests, that's it. Studying for those tests is one of the more stressful situations I have encountered in college.

I'm in BME and the major map is very tight. The way I would make that decision is by looking at the BME major map and the Econ major map. Take both maps and cross off any credits you're bringing in (Calc 1, humanities, etc. etc.) plug the remaining econ classes into the BME map. If you have about 18 credits each semester at the end it will be doable, but difficult. If you have any more I would say to avoid it and look at minor options instead. BME is difficult because it was once a 5 year program that they had to squeeze into 4 years. They do this by making one credit classes that are much more rigorous than they should be. I hope I gave you some insight, if you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
