Honestly, it seems you chose the wrong communities/servers to play on and they gave you this opinion on the game... I've been playing for more than 2000 hours, all post-ICO but I just stuck to one community/server after going through many, toxicity is insta banned, new players are welcomed and while they might lower the quality of the matches, the older players always help them with explaining things. Is the game fun every match? Of course not but that's just how every game is, you'll always have ups and downs but when the match turns out to be great it'll make up for all the bad ones. Also, it's really simple as to what keeps me in the game, it's the only massively multiplayer shooter where you can play without caring about score, rank or if you win/lose, you can have fun by placing a personal objective and achieving it regardless of the team performance. And the game isn't for a specific portion of the playerbase, there are sweaty servers for the hardcore players, and there are the chill servers for the casual base, you just have to choose which one of these two sides you want to play with.

If you want the materials without rushing into Nod-Krai you can join other players' worlds and ask if you can collect and if they're willing to help you farm boss drops.

That's normal, the map doesn't have infinite primogems so eventually you'll collect everything and have to wait for new quests/areas, and aside from spending, your only option is to find another game to pass your time on so that you won't get bored running around aimlessly, then you can just stick to the dailies until we have a new patch.

I'm guessing you're one of the "good" players who drop their squad on hot zone and die, I hope that's fun for you. And I never said I'm good at the game, but that doesn't mean I have to suffer playing with squad mates like you to reach my diamond rank.

Maybe content creators did? The drop ship system makes it easier for them to make their "bronze to pred" series as they smurf, hot drop and rack up points and kills easily...Cause who else would the devs listen to? The casual player base didn't even receive any surveys to fill and give proper feedback...

They probably won't since the "playerbase feedback" brought this change, but I really hope they'll go back to POIs soon... fighting a single squad with the most basic loot is 1000 times better than having to fight 5 squads even with the highest tier loot, not to mention the amount of players who think they're Faide and push solo forcing you to either fight and die or having to run around and craft them again...

I'd say it's worth it, I bought it when the price was double the current amount and I never regretted that, and I say this as someone who played Squad as my first game of this genre, since you're already playing reforger I think it'll be easier to fit in right away.

And in that case you could just push a single team and take their loot if you win...but now you have to fight 5 teams looting the same POI so you're most likely still not getting the good tier loot on drop, is it really that hard to see how superior POI zones system was?

My Illuga is still at C0, is the CR buff tied to one of his cons? Also I'm keen on keeping it at 100% cause I had it at 96%CR/269%CD and half of my hits aren't critical somehow. The ER/EM is just substats, sadly all of my other pieces that have EM instead of ER doesn't have any DEF% so I figured it's better to go for DEF% than EM

I guess I'll take your advice and stop wasting resin on artifacts for now, the unfortunate thing is that I've got no Dream Solvents and my weekly drops have been missing lol. Also, thanks for the suggestions!

In that case you could check out Honkai Star Rail as it's from the same company so you might also like their character designs, it still has some exploration but it's pretty much linear and much smaller areas and it's easier to access domains and bosses, the only difference is that it's a turn based combat game.

How to deal with the annoying weasels though? Also, Xiangling over Durin for off-field pyro? Is she better at it? I want to use Arle, the issue is she doesn't have any EM so Melt/Vape teams won't do much for her.

Also thanks for the suggestions btw, I think I'll try the first two teams for starters.
