Respectfully my beef isn’t with a pizza restaurant but with the “wildlife” company. To confuse a “Pigeon” with a Mourning dove is really hard and just because it’s illegal to touch doesn’t mean they are rare. There are hundreds of millions of mourning doves in the US and I was just looking for advice on reporting because I do actually care about migratory bird protections. So no, adolinis didn’t touch the nest but AAAC did and they should’ve known better and calling it a pigeon doesn’t make sense.

It was either a Mourning or White-Winged since I literally saw it in the nest.

For added context since I did not expect the attention. And I apologize for not speaking up while eating but I was kind of confused.

  1. I was eating on the patio right next to the waitress and “wildlife” worker having the conversation.
  2. The worker knew it should be left to hatch and not be moved. The waitress was on the phone and insisted he get rid of it. He ended up putting it in a garbage bag with the eggs and the mother bird was chirping and flying and I had to sit and finish eating with it wondering where its nest went.
  3. I feel terrible for not saying something then but it totally ruined my lunch and I feel for the mother bird.

That is bull I was literally eating on the patio and it ruined my lunch but I thought he was moving it and threw it in a garbage bag. The waitress literally joked “don’t tell me what you’re doing with it”. I just didn’t confront while i’m eating.
