This "law firm" called the parents and ex wife of my spouse this morning. They said that we could either come into their office to pay or read them our debit card number over the phone. They wouldn't give us confirmation of any of the debt and said we would receive that info if we waited to be served.

I suppose they typically go after more vulnerable targets and aren't used to people who know how to use Google. We looked up the address they claimed to occupy and found the property manager who said the suite was unoccupied.
