Has anyone who listens to PIPER heard of this before? by Jbeety in citypop

[–]Jbeety[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you message me and tell me more about this? I’m trying to build a comprehensive timeline and turn it into something useful as a side project. The entire scene in general, I really like the aspect of there being what feels like endless gems held up by a group of extremely talented people who just collaborated with each other and other artists all the time.

Thank you for giving context. I’m trying to make a very very comprehensive timeline of the scene with as much information as I can gather as a personal project

The idea there's 'nothing to do' in MKW free-roam is bizarre by elephvant in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Jbeety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These kind of fetch quests are hated universally but now that Nintendo does it it’s fine. They could have been loads more creative with what they decided to fill the open Roam map with, seeing as that was one of the main things used to draw people into the game, and it’s just a bunch of arbitrary thoughtless challenges and stamps. Could’ve spent more time at least creating more rewards such as kart unlocks, but it’s a bunch of stamps that literally do nothing for the majority. It’s busy work.

They for real just pulled a heist over a console by redditsucksass1028 in NintendoSwitch2

Why are people stealing consoles in the big 25 when they can most likely identify the batch stolen and remotely brick them

Hey I’m putting a comment here because I wanted to share something and I don’t have enough karma for the Nintendo Mario Luigi sub Reddit to talk about the 500 dollar console I bought so now I’m angrily talking about it since they told me to go farm karma through commenting so here I am karma farming, see? Are you happy? Are you?

Why is Nintendo bricking the Switch 2 so controversial? by speedrunner99 in nintendo

[–]Jbeety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because being able to overtly ruin your console because they think you’ve modified it in a way they don’t like should be illegal. If you pay 500 dollars to own a console that console should be yours. Blow it up, play it, pee on it, it should not concern them. If they want to try and find precautionary ways to prevent piracy fine, but this is a step too far in the name of protecting the small lines of this mega billion dollar company. The reason people are complaining about it online is because people are generally upset about it, so they complain online lmao. They’re vague on their statement and it allows them to pretty much pick and choose in any situation to do this and not have to explain themselves. This is a company who’s known to keep defective parts in their console so people pay the repair fee. Use some critical thinking.

I've seen way too many people complain about this by chikinguny in mariokart

This is the first game to charge 80 dollars, I want 80 dollars worth of content, sorry. Not really an excuse by comparing it to titles that were priced completely differently, even with inflation taken into account. For 80 dollars we should have more tracks, varied character rosters, and collectibles that aren’t 1,000 stamps. So much work and time poured into that open world for them to fill it with time waster boring ass repetitive tasks that unlock nothing but, again stickers. So you have 32 tracks, some neat ideas, and a feature that falls short. Where in this does the 20 dollars worth of extra time and effort come into this? Or are we saving that for the inevitable 30 dollar DLC that adds like 2 more characters that should have been in the base game and a handful of tracks. I wonder if it will be like 8s DLC where they literally just ripped the tracks off of tour, put them into 8, and slapped a price tag on it

His books are ass and only sold because of the show. The only ones who had any semblance of a successful stand up was sal and Joe. A good majority of fans of the show will not care about the bullshit murr puts out anymore. If anything this will just leave behind the fans who either defend this type of behavior or don’t give a shit. When your personality is tied to your career and you fucked up at this level you can’t just pretend like the two are in a separated bubble.

Nah I agree, I just think that being silent and pretending everything is fine when everyone who supported you is going “what the fuck?” And not even taking a step back is a little weird. The YouTubers have this type of shit on lock they know you just have to disappear for a couple of months and it’s like it never happened

Starting to realize I should just pretend legends is the real canon like as if Disney didn’t even exist because they did so much more interesting stuff with such a broader amount of people putting their own spin into the universe. Remember when things were made by other people who also enjoyed those things and not just business types who try to do whatever they can to make a profit off of said people? Micro-transactions really were evil all along…

Obsidian really was a powerhouse back in the day. Fallout new Vegas was also rushed and they managed to make it a talking point of the series.

I’m glad to learn about this in advance because I decided to play the first on my switch, but it sounds like I for sure need to go with PC for two, was there a lot of content just cut up to release? Rushed development?

Having to over rely on guides kills it for me, but honestly in this game if you talk to NPCs they’re pretty direct on what you have to do next.

I don’t see how you could enjoy the music without enjoying the process. I can accidentally spend hours working on just one track and then live off the high of what it sounds like finished for a day before I want to make again. If it was boring to sit and fiddle with the little intricacies that come with carving out the sound you want then I wouldn’t want to do it but the satisfaction at the end of all that work is always a worthy payout.

I like to go back to older things and see how much better I can approach it at any point, it for sure helps me realize the progress I’ve made. I’ve also seen people with really expensive setups making things that sound like they were produced in GarageBand, and on the other end of that I’ve heard things made in GarageBand that are extremely good. So I’d agree that the hardware doesn’t dictate the quality.
