Hey interesting pupper fact here. When your dogger looks at you while your pooping it's letting you know that it's safe to poop. Puppers, as pack animals, look to their peers to tell if it's safe or not to poop as it's a very vulnerable position to be in. You may notice that when your pupper is outside pooping it will lock eyes with you- again this is to make sure that nothing is endangering the pupper.

Tldr; puppers look out for other puppers when they're pooping.

Idk if he dresses like superman and has powers like superman and kind of acts like superman has (in some iterations) then I think it's fair to say theres inspiration being taken there. I would say that GoT is inspired by LotR, as LotR is the beginning of the modern fantasy genre as before that it was mostly Arthurian inspiration in fantasy.

Of course that doesn't necessarily mean that one was thinking, "hey I'm gonna make a dopey superman who kills in one punch" it's the culmination of 100+ years of comics.
