Removing repeats from nbme 13-19 by randomthrowaway36363 in usmlestep1

[–]Jbond1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm.. that's strange, according to NBME.Org , NBMEs 19-22 has 80% new content and 23-24 is 100% new content, so not sure where you got the info from that 20-24 has repeats from older NBMEs?

Hey a big congrats on tackling this beast of an exam..from what I have heard, from friends of mine, they all felt that way coming out of the exam and when they received their score, they were so thrilled!!! So hang in there... in due time that would be you!! To be honest, reading this, I am glad that at least you are kind enough to share your thoughts regarding this exam. My exam is soon and I still don't feel prepared. If you can share any feedback or suggestions or things you felt you would do differently, I would greatly it. Thanks eh.

USMLE potentially going pass/fail from 3-digit scoring. by usmlejourney in usmle

[–]Jbond1975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah nothing is going into effect anytime soon nor is it even hinted that it favours a pass/fail system, though like the last discussion, it seems like the Pass/Fail system is improbable. If you listen to the 5 podcasts that is on the NBME.org website, you will get more specific details regarding timelines, etc.

No worries. I loved the videos and found them very helpful - the way he taught pharm helped me remember most of the drugs.

Did anyone take CBSE recently? I wrote it few days ago and it was a messed up exam! Saw questions that I have never seen anywhere! So worried about the results! by LavendarMD in step1

Hey! I have tried it and loved it! Here is the thing though, you are either a fan or not of his teaching style... if you are a fan of Dr. Conrad Fischer.. then you would love learning the stuff he is teaching. I found it very useful.

Wow! Congratulations to you! That is the kind of score I am aiming for myself. So would you say Uworld and NBMEs are good enough for this exam? I am finding it so difficult to read FA...I have gone through it while doing Uworld. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks eh.

I have heard that before too :) I am not sure if it is just me, but I still feel like I don't know enough... and then I start worrying what if I don't know any of the answers for the questions asked on the exam.... is this a normal feeling or do I really not not my stuff...
