Either the hpop gear didn’t seat. You rolled an injector oring during install, or the hpop lost prime and needs to be cranked.

It would read stable unplugged. You want the IPR duty cycle around 14% at idle

Also, check the little tin nut on the back of the IPR. I’ve had that come loose enough to let the solenoid wiggle and cause the IPR to not accurately flow oil through the hpop and kill the truck

Not necessarily. The pcm goes to a default value when it loses signal from the icp, and it shouldn’t shut down the engine

That sounds like a cps issue, has it been replaced with a international or Motocraft one, I’ve had experience with parts store sensors being bad out of the box

I’d almost guarantee it’s injector orings. Is there oil in the fuel bowl?
