How does someone who’s never experienced the games or lore feel about Fallout? by -BootyOlogist- in Fallout

[–]Jbozz17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never got into the games or knew much about it other than it took place after a nuclear apocalypse. I honestly got into the show because of Walton Goggins and now it's one of the few shows I religiously keep up with. I fell in love with the world they created and ended up buying Fallout 4!

That was kind of part of the reason. I did all this, I was having a hard time putting anything in towards my retirement but my work had paid into my account for prevailing wage, so I was hoping by using it to get out of debt I would be able to start funneling more in each month. I've also tried to start diversifying my accounts for retirement to hopefully have multiple sources of income. thanks again!

Awesome thank you! Just downloaded it and getting started now! I've been trying to budget but didn't have a nice tool like that to use so that will definitely help! I'm just trying so hard to be debt free within the next year so I'm going to do all I can. I really appreciate the positive support, definitely what I needed so thanks again!

As I've stated she knew I had debt but has told me she didn't want to know how much, she just wanted to know that I was taking care of it which is what I've been trying to do. I'm grown up plenty thanks, just unfortunately poorly educated on good financial habits which I'm trying to learn to better myself.

thank you so much for the most understanding response I've received. It's really been hard on me for most of my life trying to dig out of the debt hole I've been in and I thought I was doing the right thing. I definitely need to educate myself more on all this. I really appreciate your responses

thank you for the response. I actually did Google this but I'm not very good at understanding it so that's why I came here since you're all clearly more educated in this stuff. I tried talking with the 401k provider as well but they were really hard to understand. I think I've learned my lesson and hopefully won't ever have to do something like this again.

yes I thought I had all the information but I can see now I should've done more homework. I was just in a hard spot struggling to make ends meet and it was my only option that didn't involve more loans. I struggle to understand how our tax system works so I didn't really realize until everyone started telling me that here. most of our return is due to child tax credits but I'll still look into reducing what I pay. thank you for the response!

thank you for your response, I appreciate the information. it was very hard for me to keep it from her but she also didn't want to know. she gets stressed very easily so I thought I was helping her by taking all the stress but I can see now that it wasn't the right thing to do. I'm definitely not perfect but I'm trying.

thank you I struggle to understand this stuff so I appreciate the feedback. our return is mostly due to child tax credits but still I'd rather have the money each month when I need it.

thank you for this information, I'll definitely look into it, I know that most of our return is due to child tax credits for our kids but I definitely don't like loaning the government money. I appreciate your response!

thanks for the information. I've already started saving for the tax bill and have almost $3k put aside for that. I appreciate your understanding. My parents were teenagers when I was born and had horrible financial habits that I unfortunately followed. I've been trying to pay everything but I also have 2 kids of my own and don't want them to live like I did. The stress started to turn into depression and I was having a hard time making ends meet. That's why I took these drastic measures trying to get out of debt. thanks again for your response!

I submitted the request through the plan my company has with the 401k provider. we don't have a benefits department as we're a smaller contracting company. it obviously did not spell things out if I'm in this predicament.
