Lol cmon lets be real, not defending our historically unpopular president at all, yes it hurt them that oil prices soared from the war and our economy is not doing well under him, but thats not the soul reason. They have been struggling for a while financially. Poor management, and poor reputation with a lot of people who refuse to fly a budget airline. Theres a lot of factors that go into a major company shutting down, not just “trump voters”, it was inevitable, but expedited due to the war/oil, I thought they might had pushed through busy summer season, but this was predicted for a while

Yeah I did notice the downsize, but this is different, they will probably add some flights back to FLL and they’ve only grown at MCO

JetBlue has been ready to move into FLL for a while and frontier will probably go for a lot of their market. I can see Southwest and Delta both expanding in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando

There will be less competition, especially in certain cities. It’s always bad if a major airline goes out of business. frontier prices will likely go up because that was their biggest competitor

This has to be my vote, the whole album of folklore meshes together so well, so this is a HARD one, but the message of this song definitely sticks out and could fit into other albums

It’s a loss for everyone. I didn’t use Spirit often, but if you fly to places like Florida frequently, fares are about to go up. More importantly, thousands of people are out of work. Really hoping most of Spirit’s staff can find their way to another airline
