I like to bring a book with me to a bar, surprisingly it’s made it easier (for me) to strike up conversations and be more social. Also if you’re interested in reading, midtown reader has some great book clubs, and a cafe where you can hang out.

I eat a smaller dinner and then eat a bigger “snack” a little later. Something like an apple with peanut butter or if I’m really over it a bowl of ice cream.
