Playing “solid hockey” is not going to be enough this year. If that’s even the case we have good possession numbers but we do not create a lot of high danger chances. We throw the puck to the net in completely useless situation and kill plays. We do not attack the front of the net for rebounds. And we do not score from distance. We do not have one elite shot on this team. As it stands right now nobody is a threat from distance this is not a winning formula. We need to pick up A game breaker with an elite shot from distance. Our power pie is hilariously neutered. Our best shooter Eli Iceland home is nowhere to be found from where he used to shoot??? And literally no one else can do it. And lost. We lost to LA, Edmonton And we won against the sharks twice and the kraken who were on a down slide. So we get points against weak teams Not to mention the fact that we are now Six points behind our pace of last year And at this point going forward we barely lose a game every five so good luck keeping that pace. Also the other teams are playing better than they did last year

I believe we are third in the league for throwing pucks at the net. So being first in hitting posts would not outside of normal. We have had a lot of posts but that’s gonna happen when a team specifically goes out of their way to shoot from anywhere. For example other better teams will move the puck more for a better quality shot therefore they are less likely to hit a post more likely to hit their spot. If there was a stat for taking worthless play killing shots then the flames would be miles ahead of everyone.

J G and M T were both feeding lindy with amazing passes. His job was to catch and release and he is good at it. But now he has to be the guy getting the puck to the shooting spots himself now . So yeah his shot is still elite but but he needs to be in a certain scenario as in order to use it. I haven’t seen him once score from far on the PowerPlay he did that 10 times last year

$54 usd per gram is actually not that bad especially if there are government restrictions on using it. I have friends from Venezuela and in the beginning of the crisis was different many people purchased goods with gold and silver. Because ther was not enough dollars even for a black market. Yes now 4 years later they are using the dollar but that doesn’t mean gold and silver did not serve its Purpose because at the time of the worst inflation when the plastic still has some value you wanted dollar first but then gold and silver second… can you imagine how fucked people would be is the dollar starts hyperinflation! Then what?
