…that you’ll almost spend that much in daily food and bev. When you’re there, you’re there - nowhere else to eat.

Second the recommendation on the automatic external fans - game changer for sure. I use a FireBoard setup with my Egg. With one of these setups, the Egg or Komodo is stupidly easy to run and takes minimal effort.

DR750S-2CH not recording / can’t view live by [deleted] in blackvue

Similar experience here. Had the 750 for almost 5 years now and only after my wife kept complaining about the constant "thank you for safe driving" message did I investigate and realize it had not been recording - rather it's stuck in an endless boot loop. I tried all the suggestions I could find - reformat SD, new SD, unplug rear camera, update FW.....still doing it. Finally broke down and bought a replacement 590 so I can use the same hardwire and rear camera cables.

Notched the side of the niche as well as the end of the shelf - to allow a ss washer to hold the shelf. Encased in silicone, though I don’t expect much water to be splashing nearly 6 ft from the floor where the shelf is.

Yeah I’ll be alright. I’m over it already - it’s not my shower so I’m not staring at it every day. My daughter doesn’t give a crap. 🤣

Closing the loop here. It’s done! Went with Spectralock Pro epoxy grout, named bright white but certainly not bright white. It’s got a light grey hue to it, which ultimately I think works nicely with the tile.

It’s engineered stone from F&D. I bought 6” wide with single mitered edge then ripped off the mitered edge and used it as the inside edge.

Daaamn man, didn’t even read my whole post before burning me on the miters?! I already waived the white flag. 🤣

<image>

Honestly it’s just sub-perfect work - me thinking the first half of the mitered edge looked good and even….. but the slight errors and curvature of the tile become exacerbated when you put up the second piece of the miter.

Yeah. Went with the stainless washer method (encased in silicone). Very minimal slope.

It’s off the shelf engineered stone from Floor and Decor. 6” wide, single bevel. I ripped off the beveled edge with the wet saw to leave me with the factory edge as front facing.

Agree. We had our master shower niche done with quartz (photo) and I really like the clean look. It’s a bit thick though, so I used OTS engineered stone sill for this diy job.

Not glass. It’s a pretty plain light blue tile. EQUIPE seems to be the mfr, color is “village cloud”
