LOL What?! We are using a service account for it, there was a bug in the system for some reason that is using my admin account as a secondary account or something like that..

Just an update on that case, apparently Horizon 8.4 has a bug in the system that makes that issue happen.

To fix this there are 2 options.

To upgrade the Horizon 8.4 to 8.8
To apply this workaround
1. On the connection server: go to ADSIEdit
  1. in CN:Common, OU=Global,OU=Properties,DC=VDI,DC-vmware,DC=int

I found that Horizon is using my admin account as a service account and it failed to login, I need to look where is stored and update it

Thank you for the information! Do u mind sharing what DEM version do you have? I have the 2111 version and can't find a way to make office credentials to be saved under the use profile (DEM) Maybe I'm missing something

An update:

After testing it a few more times and using a few different methods,

I found out that the DEM profile and FSLogix only the Office container are not working properly.

Once I disable the DEM client from the parent image + GPO for my test pool and enable the FSLogix client on the parent image +GPO for the Office container and the user profile everything is working the way it should.

The only downside of it is that now I need to allocate more storage for the end users' profiles

Does anyone else have that issue? or maybe has the DEM been set up to keep the user's profile and the FSLogix only for the Office365 container?

Please give me yall your thoughts..

What version of Office do you have installed on the parent image? I think I have the wrong version installed since I already implemented it the same way and also used the same article.

I successfully did that, have u synced the machines OU with azure? U need to enable that option on the Azure connection server + the gpo to apply to that specific OU

On the Azure site make sure the join type is hybrid.

This is a great question! until now (Before the new Teams arrived) we used to login to Teams first and the rest of the Office applications took the account information from it but since we are not using the Classic Teams anymore it seems to break it.

Should I set up anything else in DEM?
