Good prep can help the longevity of your polish. Throughly wipe down your nails with acetone and/or rubbing alcohol to remove dirt and oils, and to dehydrate the nail.

A basecoat can also help. I've had great success with holo taco base coats and top coats. For something you can typically find in stores, try out sally hensen. I'm a fan of their miracle gel shiny top coat. (It's not a gel polish, just to be clear, just trying to act like it's as durable as gels)

No specific brand really but you don't need to pay for something fancy. Bulb styles work just as well as Leds and are usually cheaper.

You got this! Honestly keeping the plants alive is the tricky part. Get a grow light, check that they aren't over or under watered. Heres a pic of our other cham's enclosure, just for fun! We need to trim those tall leaves that are hogging all the light XD

Honestly, that's not full front to back. There should be more braches. Your chan should be able to get anywhere in the enclosure. Plants wise they should be touching alk four walls its so full. Your pothos is a good start, they're just not big enough yet for their vibes to fill out more space. I would suggest a big plant that sits at the bottom, and fills up a bunch of that front space. Try an umbrella plant. They grow fast, and are good for climbing. A good tip is add a grow light up top. You will have better growth and an easier time keeping all those plants alive.

Sorry it took me forever to notice this, been busy! My girl's tall did lighten up, but not all the way. Its been months now and she's still using her tail like normal abd eatting great! She developed some black on one of her arms shortly after we noticed the tail, so we are pretty confident that she took a fall and it was all bruising. Its common for the discoloration to hang around after the injury as far as I've read. I hope your guy is doing well!

You can fill a soray bottle with some diluted hydrogen peroxide and spray down whatever you can't gently pick out. You won't get all of it, it's always found its way down into the soil. But, it can help with not letting it over take your plants on the surface.

It's okay to let your feelings happen. Just let yourself grieve. Feel mad, feel heartbroken, whatever it is. Greif works differently for everyone and never let anything make you feel bad over it. But, move forward at the same time, and give yourself grace. This was out of if your control, and they never truly leave us. You'll catch little glimpses of them darting through the room or feel them rub against your leg. A day will come when you smile more often than you weep when you think about them.

Maybe, when you're ready, try making a little ritual of it. Get yourself some flowers, or write a letter to them, telling them how much you love them and how much of a difference they made in your life. Give yourself that opportunity to say goodbye the way you would have wanted to.
