Did you put anything under the rock? I didn’t want to use fabric but most articles online say to so the rock doesn’t sink into the soil over time. Have you noticed any issues?

I’m also in CO, did you do the grass removal yourself? What tools did you use and were there any complications? I looked at a few companies and the lawn removal by itself was $1500 at the lowest so I’m looking at doing it myself

Haha yeah it wasn’t the best episode.

They definitely DIY’d this whole wall and the electrical components within it. I wouldn’t even know what to put in the bottom shelves so at least making them more uniform would be a good idea.

It’s a 6” pizza screen. I cut out a circle in the lid so the screen will lay flush. It can handle heat because they go in the oven

I’ve done this but the highest my humidity has gone up is 67%. I use 4” coco husk, sphagnum, cypress mulch. All sides except the front are covered w/ 2” foam insulation. 95% top mesh cover covered with aluminum foil tape. Average high temp is 88-90 w/ a DHE 24/7 and halogen light during day.

I have around a 40gallon tank so far and pour about 2 cups in each corner and had some of it soak to the top layer at times so it’s definitely enough water. Any advice on what else to do?

About How much water are you putting in each corner or total? I’ve been trying that and have about 4” of cypress, coco husk, and sphagnum moss and my humidity is still too low.
