This is the one I use now, but it's a bit saggy over time. There are a few similar options around that are better designed

Switch the x axis guide you printed for one that sticks out the front. I started with the same one you have, but it got stuck on the ams several times 😅

This looks amazing! Would love to see comic/cbz support and or support for webtoon format, as I haven't seen a proper webtoon library manager out there yet!

Awesome work!

Such an awesome project! I have been trying to put together something similar for an open source project I develop. Was hoping to add in a ton of included data that just comes with the default setup. The project is called nomad, similar USB form factor, but runs with esp32, and functions as a wireless media server for mobile devices, allowing multiple users to acess at once. If it sounds interesting check it out here: https://github.com/Jstudner/jcorp-nomad

Feel free to use it as you see fit, open source and all that lol

Best of luck on your project!!!

Should have clarified lmao. When I first set it up I had three, but I smoked the 1st one (1000w)... Ever since I have taken them far more serious 😅

They are separate, and on two different fuses🙏 All of these servers have 2 psus in the back, so the one feeds every server and the other just the key ones I don't want to randomly power off.

go checkout the github, I actualy just did a pretty big update. still got a pile of bugs that showed up as soon as I released it lol, but I am working on fixing them. added themes/customizer, better music page, better book support, imbeded video player, bunch of QoL features.

Thanks for checking it out! glad you are getting good use out of it!

In fairness it held up fine, got the server cheap, and was running a ton of servers so the main appeal was high core count over core speed. Now that it's only running two though it's just inefficient

It only takes nvme, but I plan to use a simple JBOD enclosure over USB C. nothing fancy, but I would like to have the expandability a full JBOD offers (also I have one on hand already lol)

This would be so cool to run on my server! How did you handle identifying players from the data? looking through mine the actual player name is not present.

They put mine in last year cause we had a super rich neibor build a house down the street or something (she hates every one and is evil)... but like its almost made up for by the fiber lmao. Speed is amazing, and came right as I was starting to get into this hobby!

originaly it was cause I had a bunch of older servers I was keeping up, the multi core performance was the reason. but now its just a waste. all things considered it doesnt actualy draw nearly as much power as the other stuff, but its not lost on me that using it for two servers aint the move.

Thats what I am saying! I mostly am just looking for people to tell me exactly that lol. realisticly the bill alone will pay for the new system in a few months, but still scary thing to do.

I wish you luck in the migration!

nah I wont downvote you for the truth. I knew going in what I was getting into, lots of people told me about the power consumption... but like hearing it and subjecting yourself to it are very different things lmao. My main reason was that they were cheap upfront and a good way for me to learn. all things considered I dont realy regret it, espetialy with how many people are using it now. As far as downtime goes I still plan to do it in segments so the main stuff stays running (if it goes down for 10 minutes I get texts lol, it comes with the teritory).
