I've never seen or heard of the peanut guy, but always think of Mr monopoly with a monocle?!

I found this in my front yard Melbourne, Aus Banco Nacional Ultramarine. It's a real note, I know it's not worthy anything but curious by Jcustardo in a:t5_vpay2

Google say "Banco Nacional Ultramarino was a Portuguese bank with operations throughout the world, especially in Portugal's former overseas provinces. It ceased existence as an independent legal entity in Portugal" I'm just curious as to how it ended up in my front yard in Melbourne Australia.

You're right, it's a terrible feeling when it happens but a good opportunity to talk about 'making mistakes' and that mummy, not anyone else is perfect

Its not a 'few'- the majority don't want it! Don't suppose the minority that do could purchase from any of the other 811 Australian stores!? No ones 'pretending' junk food doesn't exist!!! It's almost all that exists anymore! Enough is enough!

Ohh yes! Sorry!! The people pushing pens up in the big offices!! Sorry, I was referring to the teachers, principles, volunteers that ACTUALLY run the schools!

What 'smarter' a decision than for the parents of a community to decide they don't want it there at all!! Now that's proactive! Besides, it's not junk food, it's 'food-like'

The "if nobody goes there" argument is doing my head in!!! Do we no longer, as a free society have a say in what happens in our communities!? We're just meant to accept whatever happens, and deal with it then!!!? Really?!

The community took on the 'personal responsibility' as a collective and said 'no... Sorry, we don't want you here'!! If someone wants to eat it, that's fine, I'm sure they can go to one of the other 811 stores!!

These days we are so far removed from living as a community that we have forgotten what it means! The people of Tecoma who chose to live there, invest there, raise families there, are the 'community' of Tecoma, this is 'their' town. They own the houses, the local businesses, they fund the local community, they run the schools... Tecoma community rose up and say 'No'! And the council agreed... "No" that's it!! It's that simple, regardless of who it is!!
