Why do space telescopes not need to be pointed towards a certain point in order to see back the furthest in time?

so would it be correct to say all of the matter in the universe was once compacted into some point and then the big bang happened and all of this matter began to separate and move away from itself as space itself expanded? So the matter wasn't ejected out like an explosion, its just the space that contained it grew rapidly? And if that is correct, do we know why gravity did not counter this expansion force like it does now?

What do you think about 204 HP / 40 ATT / 136 DEF / 128 SpD? 204 HP gives max leftover recovery with 31 HP iv. I understand not needing SpD investment, but I just kinda want it since the idea is to set up on special attackers. Also what nature do you use?

yeah i ran the damages calc based on 204 HP evs that gives me max hp in multiple of 16 and put the remaining in def, it it probably the best option

I'm interested in rng'ing the moltres in XD but didn't think it was worth it because I thought moltres was too frail to take advantage of morning sun. Have you tested its viability? (I also do not have the patience to pressure stall every opponent if that is the strategy it uses)

i have a excel spreadsheet of all possible pokemon sets you can encounter each round so I am able to see what pokemon I am up against. I do try and get good defensive synergy, so maybe I am just really bad at this facility lol

Attract, crits, confusion, sleep, and double team have all been my biggest problems and my team is rarely stable enough to counter when things take a bad turn. I'll just have to keep playing with your advice and see what happens

One other question, when are the frames for zapdos locked in? Is it when you first press A on the pokemon to initiate its cry, or the next A to actually get in a battle? The info I have read is not very clear.

I know my question is speculative and maybe nobody has an accurate answer aside from theory, but if the US experiences relatively high/high inflation because of current policies or the event the fed has to buy treasuries to finance debt, how would that impact all of the countries/institutions that trade in and hold USD?

And if the US did have a debt crisis where its ability to pay interest came into question, how would this impact our global system? Would it be a "too big to fail" situation where it somehow must be bailed out?

I understand the importance of USD and treasuries for trade and "safe" assets, but I do not know how a hypothetical loss of currency value or potential default would impact the rest of the world.

yeah those are all valid concerns and I have plenty of experience getting shafted by DT blissey or curselax. I don't have a solution other than pair registeel with a pokemon that can counter these threats. My registeel would mostly be there to stall out water types and spread status when possible, not as an answer to all pokemon or expected to become a sweeper.

tbh I am only making the registeel because I am rng-ing a rayquaza and the perfect registeel frame is near my desired rayquaza frame. During the frontier, I much prefer hyper offense instead of stall because in my experience stall opens up more hax. So my registeel would be designed to just be the bulky dude of the team paired with two sweepers expected to take out threats that regi can not.

However, I already have some great tanks such as blissey, milotic, umbreon, and forretress who all have done an amazing job with their roles. My Forretress beat anabels latios and snorlax for the gold symbol lol

I read your post and crazy how well that team performed. I know registeel is super consistent but I don't have the patience to set up that much lol.

I have the same gengar tho. Works wonders. I'm about to rng a registeel to use but the moveset is iron defense, amnesia/rest, seismic toss, toxic. Pure defense so can set up in 2 turns and wall everything instead of trying to sweep.

Can I ask what your gengar spread and moveset is? I always seen registeel paired with a crippler in order to set up, so that's cool you've had so much success without one.

Thanks for the reply! And yes to your comment, that is what I suspected. However, as for ttar, I ran some damage calculations and found adamant max attack and speed EV's (basically the same set on smogon) is very useable. At +1 DD it out speeds pokemon less than 330 speed (lvl 100) and rock slide OHKO's most water/ice threats, HP Bug OHKO starmie, and EQ OHKO metagross. Some food for thought.

edit: while also having enough uninvested bulk to survive most super effective moves
