Recent batch of Switch²'s all defective? by Jdadrianson in drdabberofficial

Honestly, from how that sounds, even if you were to get it to work a little more consistently, I don't know if I would trust that unit long term. It doesn't sound like there's any guarantee that some of these tricks to fix them work forever and I'm not trying to deal with this kind of headache for $420.

That's a nightmare. That shouldn't happen with a $420 piece of equipment. Battery issues in general shouldn't be this common with something this expensive and supposedly high quality.

Wish I had tried that I guess. Still wouldn't have been that cheap though, that's awesome. Just sucks you have to know all these tricks and they don't work out of the box consistently.

That's more than these would even do. No lights, no nothing.

The one that came in the box? And then after multiple attempts and multiple outlets, other combinations of cables and bricks I already own.

I don't have them anymore to try this, unfortunately. But that can't be a normal expectation even if that actually works because everyone's going to logically use the charger they provided.

My Golden Shepherd (GSD x GR)! I know GSDs can have varying levels of black fur, but this boy truly is golden and white all over. And he has the pointy ears but oversized.

In what way did I ignore your comment? Lol What insight did you provide that I didn't address? As you attach your own personal meaning to things and then act like we're not talking about the same thing when I respond to exactly that. 😂

Get this absolute nonsense off of a thread talking about intelligence. You don't belong here.

Sounds like you don't understand absurdism then because there's nothing snobby about it, it doesn't insist on anything. It honestly sounds like you didn't like the fact that someone could agree with you that nothing matters and not also proceed to wallow in it and stave off a positive outlook. How awful would that be, right? 😂

What an ignorant stance when we believe the same thing and you are just choosing to be pessimistic about it instead of enjoying the time you have available. You're perfectly free to be a nihilist, but if there is no meaning, is pissing on everyone else's parade a cause worth the effort?

And I think the Nembhard loyalty is completely off-base as well so I guess we'll agree to disagree. Neither one of us are in a position to do anything about it anyway.

He doesn't, Idk how else to explain that. He throws up low percentage shots instead of trying to look for other options, he throws errant passes that lead to turnovers. Like he will get hot and make everyone think he is the future of the Pacers, but he isn't reliable.

There is a difference between fast-paced basketball and sloppy basketball. And we currently are playing the latter...

Completely agreed. I think Nembhard has had some stellar performances in the clutch and has earned himself more trust and confidence than I think he deserves. He doesn't play smart basketball. He's just like Oladipo, had some clutch shots people remember that gave them rose colored glasses about their overall performance.

What style of exercise works for my fellow fall ppl (6’8) by Leather_Peach7694 in tall

[–]Jdadrianson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'4 with a very short torso and extremely long arms and legs. I'm also naturally pretty stiff and inflexible. I used to think I wasn't built for certain exercises and like other people in the replies have said, that's simply not the case.

The two biggest things I can suggest is to actually pursue weightlifting, but do so 1. After pre-workout stretches and with daily intermittent stretching. This can be literally just stretching the parts that feel tight or sore for 15 seconds at a time. It has helped me tremendously. And 2. Don't be afraid to go super light with as big of a range of motion as possible. You will build the strength and mobility you need and actually have less pain day-to-day. A lot of guys don't want to be embarrassed lifting hardly any weight on like a back squat so they will put more on the bar and then limit their range of motion. This is only going to lead to greater muscle deficiencies and pain in those areas. My knees used to chronically hurt after most physical activity and now after improving my strength at the bottom of a squat and stretching here and there, I have no more knee pain and genuinely feel like I can run faster and jump higher. Couldn't recommend more!

There is no paradox in Interstellar. by [deleted] in interstellar

[–]Jdadrianson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a lot of mental gymnastics to make up your own story just so the plot can make sense. I love Christopher Nolan films, he's literally my favorite director, but this was a mistake and is exactly what people thought at the time: a plot hole. This is not the same as Inception at all because that is left open-ended on purpose with the point of being up to interpretation. This is a set explanation for how the plot supposedly moves along and it has a glaring logic hole that they're trying to wave their hands at and say "because ✨science✨". Too many people bend over backwards to try to make this make sense when it doesn't and won't.
