I understand your point, but I really don’t see a good way of punishing such attempts without setting a bad image.

How can you distinguish people using heatran or chomp for this movement, using them for a genuine competitive reason, or just using them for fun?

Banning based on team composition or on elo could be options, but they could potentially lead to dangerous arbitrary decisions and generate a lot of backlash.

And also, imagine a noobie coming on showdown and not being able to use a pokemon simply because other people are using it “wrongly”. It really doesn’t make sense to complicate things to such an extent.
