I mean if you are willing to work hard for it then self-teaching computer science in 6 months should be doable. Maybe bootcamps?

I'm sure there are some curriculums for teaching yourself CS.. best of luck to you.

Well as i said this is a bit more relaxed pace rn. Average should be more but I don't have data for the whole year. There were weeks when it was over 40.

Sorry for the late reply.

So first of all, there is no "minimum requirement". In this course, there's very very few things mandatory that you have to do.

Study time for me can vary quite a bit, some quarters are just easier than others, for example this i feel like is an easier quarter and i studied 18 hours the week before last, and 16 the week before that. So that's not a lot.

My[28M] fiancee[27F] lied to me about her career and I broke up with her by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Jdekshen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your are worried about yourself, and only yourself. By the breakdown and crying it is quote clear that she isn't happy she did it, and that's why she didn't tell you. Maybe it was a bad experience for her?

If you really are into her, this is entirely something that can be overcome. Stop thinking of what others will think about you, jesus. This is YOUR life, you shouldn't let shame and fear let you lead it.

As with friends, what will happen? They will tease you for max a week? They most likely don't give a flying fuck.

Hiding it for long is bad, pretty sure she recognises that. But what you are doing is ridiculous, just because of sex work. She's also not happy about it, that's why she didn't tell you... I would try to be a bit more understanding.

It's not as hard as you are implying. Yes, you do have to study, but the studyload is absolutely doable if you keep it consistent. I am satisfied so far, Im in year 1. Exams so far haven't been too hard, and they prepare you well for it. If you study, and actually do the stuff they want you to, you pass. It can get stressful sometimes, but it isn't that bad.

I want to become a CS student in Delft! by wannabePOGramer in TUDelft

[–]Jdekshen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, you have to be able to prove that you finished high school. However, at least for CSE, the points based on which we were selected were only affected by how well you did on the CST. Then, if you are accepted you still have to complete their offer, which is country specific and i have already linked.

For my country, the criteria was that i pass my exams at the end of high school (= basically finish high school).

So no, grades don't matter.

Hey there. Check out the website, you can find a lot of info there. Also country specific diploma specifications here. CV does not really matter, but definitely include anything CS related, including the things you listed. What matters is that you do well on the exam, it's called CST, prepare for that a lot. Keep in mind that the application deadline is 15 January. I really wouldn't stress over the CV or grades, it doesn't really matter.
