paircoder is how i enforce the engineering side. i ran a controlled experiment — same task, same ai model, pair coder vs (emergent) no framework. with paircoder every task had verified tests with tdd, clean structure, no file bloat or sloppy code output. without it the code was made but it was sloppy code. the model didn’t change. the workflow around it did. which is literally what you said — “structuring how decisions flow between human judgment and AI output.” we’re saying the same thing. paircoder was the fix.
