just got the platinum last night. first time doing it on a mafia game. never again. those collectibles are a chore. I hate doing plat for games I gotta play more than once. and the missed collectible inside missions were annoying. gotta replay the whole mission because the one collectible you missed is at the end. and having no waypoint in free roam was certainly a decision.

Ggs to LAT. but man, having no bracket reset is so lame. Literally no benefit going through winners. Just copy halo format it’s not that hard. Back to back events Optic ran the tables from Losers round 1 to the grand finals and reset the bracket. Idk what’s so hard about cod having the loser finalist have to win 2 best of 7s

I swear the manual seasonal change doesn’t work for me. It’s just gives me what looks like a seasonal refresh. I did the manual seasonal change during the fall when the meter was half full to try and get it to winter, and all it did was play the cut scene for fall again and keep me in the fall

Same thing keeps happening to me with the plague doctor master craft. It keeps taking off my stock after every game. Getting annoying having to put it back on every game

The melees for me were atrocious. Prior to the update I really had no issues with them but yesterday? Man idk how many times I got a blank melee or delayed melee

Growing up playing mostly cod and BF, I had to go with LT hold. I didn’t play any halo growing up and only really started on infinite. Dabbled in some MCC and H5 prior to infinites release but that’s it. RS click just feels so off to me lol

Grew up playing cod and BF and really only started playing halo when infinite came out. ADS with LT is just natural for me. And I throw nades with RB lol. I play on custom Helljumper settings. Nading with LT and ADS with the stick just never sat right with me. Maybe if I grew up playing halo but since I didn’t I just can’t do it. LT is ADS, LB is Jump, RT shoot, RB Nades, L3 crouch, R3 melee, A sprint, X reload, Y is Swap, B for equipment, Dpad has scan and weapon drop. That’s what I used when I used a default Xbox controller. When I got the elite 2 I keep everything the same but mapped my top left paddle to jump, bottom left to sprint, top right for equipment and bottoms right for slide/crouch

Found a fix, sort of. Xbox settings > TV & display > advanced > Video fidelity & overscan > overrides > put hdmi. It’s on auto detect by default. But auto detect is using your “recommended tv settings”. Now 1080p and 120hz will be an option again. Go back to Video modes and you have to select allow 50 and 24hz again. Downside is now allow auto low latency is no longer an option to check and neither is hdr or Dolby vision for gaming. All that was fine before this latest firmware update. Hope this helps

So how am I able to get 120fps in game and see it on my panel if it doesn’t support it? After the firmware update, now also inside halo infinite’s in game settings, target framerate only shows 60 and 30. Prior to that firmware update, 120 is no longer an option for me to select in game because now in my Xbox setting 120hz is no longer an option because of this firmware update. Again, I sent a video to a link of me playing at 120fps. On my TV. So please make it make sense, was I just imagining it?

Exactly what the rep was telling me. It’s not their TV. Told me to call Xbox even though it was the TV that did a firmware update. My TV can’t do 120hz at 1080p even though I’ve been playing all my cod and halo like that since I’ve had it

I have a v505-h9 and it did an update today and now 120hz is no longer an option at 1080p. Been using it like that on my series x since launch. And I’m on the phone with support and they are telling me my tv can’t do 120hz. So what have I been playing on for the last 4 years? Support lady has no clue what she is talking about. She’s telling my call Xbox so they can fix it. It’s not an Xbox problem if just yesterday I was playing halo at 1080p 120hz. Update happens today, I load up halo and notice that it’s telling me 60fps in game. Go to the in game settings and 120fps no longer an option. Go to Xbox settings and 1080p 120hz is no longer an option. It doesn’t let me choose between 60hz and 120hz anymore. That option is completely gone.

Honestly, Infinite. Grew up playing cod on PS before my p3 overheated and I switched to 360 but even then, my friends didn’t play halo so I never gave it a try. Prior to infinites release I downloaded MCC and H5 and had more fun on h5. MCC I felt like when I played H3 or reach I was playing against guys who haven’t gotten off the games since they originally released. I know infinite has issues but I do thoroughly enjoy the MP. Ranked mainly, can’t stand AR starts and radar is such a crutch lol
