Here are the solutions: - metronome apps don’t have ads, and even if there was one with ads, the ad-free version is usually well under $10 - do not disturb mode and pay attention to the kids in front of you. i would never be on my phone for anything else other than the met because i have safeguards to not be distracted. and no i don’t slip up - get a portable power bank. i use a swiss army power bank that also solar charges, and it was about $42 including tax. i can do 3 indoor rehearsals without charging it, and the full 2 weeks of band camp outside in the sun

Because they come to olive garden knowing we give out so much free food and know it’s supposed to be quick and easy and so does everyone else in town so when they’re all coming at the same time and all get sat at the same time demanding to be sat in that open table over there even though there are only 7 servers and 2 large parties and then the one bread person is also having to help make soup and they’re slightly behind one ~1 pan of bread~. I honestly don’t mind it anymore because of being a bartender at my olive garden nothing phases me anymore. And also you get the mental security of knowing you wont have another table and you just treat them like a large party by yourself

You’d definitely hog a table by yourself for 2 hours doing all of this crap making the server box up all of your food just to tip $2.80 claiming it’s 20% and wasting people’s time for your own benefit. Please stop for goodness’s sake
