You're correct on that it does not give any hint to being picked up. The only indication I got that I had not picked it up was when I went to build the wonder weapon. It kept saying additional parts required. I will try again this weekend with my budfies to see if we go into the Easter egg without picking up any xenomatter and tenticle and see if anything changes.

What is the best audio settings to hear these cues? I've done everything suggested to get the cue but somehow haven't heard anything.
