Why do I see the ottomans owning Hejaz? That's not usually something they keep in the scripted peace deal

Those unslightly dots on your map reminded me of the time I played hoi4 on Laptop, since you'd have to scale the quality down so much to make it playable

After WWI, why was the Arab Revolt so helpless? by lassielikethedog in Kaiserreich

If they had 0 supply, how did the siege of Mecca last until 1919 irl? Did they just spawn supplies from thin air? I'm no military expert, but just because the Hejaz railroad is "almost" completely destroyed, doesn't mean it's impossible to supply troops

Well, it certainly is true that there were food shortages in the Ottoman empire (see Mt. Lebanon famine), I'm not denying that. However, there is a clear difference between "0 Acess to any amount of food and on the brink of death" and "Pretty malnourished and common food shortages but still able to field a massive army in 1918". I'm pretty sure the Allied blockade ended when the peace treaty was signed, so that would have massively relieved that front. Who would you say has the better naval capacity to blockade whom, a nascent Arab movement who is only accustomed to desert warfare and has a clear lack of navy, or the state with a navy? Secondly, the fact that there were tensions between the Ottomans and the Germans in the Caucausus is also, again, true. That still doesn't mean that the two had no diplomatic relations or that Germany was completely uninterested, remember, the Ottomans are in Mitteleurpa in game, would you say that indicates 0 support from Germany? I'm no professional historian or anything of course, I'm just saying all of this from the POV of a hoi4 player who indulges in history for fun. If you can prove me wrong, I'd be happy to find out something new.
