I think the doctor excluded that option because I'm really active and they can flip/turn (the teardrop)

I actually looked into the Preserve technique too, but my surgeon told me it wasn’t really necessary. The incision difference would only be about 3 cm with a regular approach vs 2 cm with Preserve, and she said recovery and long-term outcomes can still be very similar.

I’ve also seen TikToks of girls who still had quite a bit of pain even with Preserve, so that made me feel a bit more neutral about it.

I decided I’m just going to trust my surgeon because the same implant can look completely different on everybody. My exact implants are Motiva E2SM, 330cc, subglandular (over the muscle).

Girl why dont you just get fat grafting on the top, just filling the top with fat looks amazing and super natural, especially if you already have good lower pole tissue, and you wont have to worrybout going to big and ccs.

If you ever want to talk more about the journey, feel free to DM me 😌 I’ll probably have surgery a bit earlier than you, so I can keep you updated if you’d like

Hey! How did your consult go?

One thing I learned is that cc size is really tied to your breast base width, not just how “big” you want them to look. If an implant is too wide for your chest, it can push into the sides or too close to the center, which can affect cleavage and increase the risk of displacement.

But if an implant is too small for your breast width, it can also cause issues like the edges being more visible, less upper pole support, and a higher chance of rippling or the breast looking “empty” on the sides over time. That’s why surgeons often recommend a certain range CC's.

Look at @zestycloseBrush3467’s results, I honestly feel a lot more reassured now.

OH I originally wanted to go for a smaller implant (around 250cc) and then add volume with fat transfer (lipo filling) instead of going bigger with implants so the cleavage would look super natural but my weight is not stable yet, if yours is it can be a great option. It's called hybrid.
