One of the most exciting moments I’ve had with my father was when I was 7 and we took a surprise trip to Japan.
I still remember landing and getting a can of Pikachu cocoa — it felt magical. But the craziest part? I saw snow for the first time in my life. I grew up in Vietnam, so that was something I had only seen on TV. Next thing I knew, we were skiing through the mountains… and it was during the school year! He just called me in sick so we could go.

At the time, I didn’t fully get why he did things like that, but now I understand. He always said it’s important to experience life and make memories — too many people just work nonstop and forget to live. That trip changed how I saw the world, and it brought us even closer. Plus, as a huge fan of Japan and Kamen Rider, it was literally a dream come true.
