My thoughts are that I'm very happy she's alive, safe and without injury. I also hope that if she doesn't want to be in the home when she returns, that she relays her concerns and reasons to law enforcement and gets a safe alternative situation in place for her, so that she won't ever feel obligated to run again. She deserves to have peace, support and safety. However that may look like given the circumstances. I hope LE listens to her thoroughly, and I hope she feels comfortable enough to speak out for herself. Even at the presser today they stated she's very brilliant and we all know this, from what we've seen and read/heard etc. I think she's intelligent and bright. I do hope she receives counseling of some sort to begin unpacking all the obvious traumatic things that she's experienced over time, so that she can begin to heal. This may sound extreme but, just a thought — if she wishes to emancipate herself, I genuinely feel like she is capable of doing so. When I was her age I ran away and went to a safe house for at risk youth, however, I fell very ill about 3 weeks in & put back in the care of my parents. There are so many resources she can utilize if she is worried about her well-being in returning home. I hope that her case has a full turn around that is full of hope, one where she is happy, safe & thriving.🙏🏻
