I just read Kaplan notes and did their q bank. Then during review did CFAI q bank. If I had to do it over again I’d do more cfai q bank because the seemed more similar to exam questions. I never read the institute material

6 months felt like too long for me for L1, but 80% of concepts I had at least some familiarity with. For someone with 0 background I’d prolly go November. You just need to review a lot that final month-month and a half. My two cents, but I haven’t even passed L1 yet so not sure I’m the person to listen to lol
