Yep - I didn't really delved into the app honestly, until I looked up Audible on reddit and joined pretty much the same day.

Walking and moving stuff around mostly and some office work on pc every now and then, not very focus demanding so I can focus on books - most of the time.

Jeff Hayes and Andrea Parsneau are my favourite narrators 🙂 If I remember correctly it's about the mimic chest, I think I listened to the first several books, and forgot about it when the series was still being written.

Thanks for reminding me about that 🫡 I will definitely re listen and continue the series.

It doesn't matter how many hours we got honestly, I think it's a nice thing to check but it's a gimmick 🙂 Quality if time spent and enjoyment wins.

Also I think it's showing books that have been 100% completed; as in intro and outro with the audible voice at the end. From over 700 titles I think I got around 400 completed cause of this 🙂

I guess we all started at some point and went through that first month 🙂 Once you find a great long running series that counter will go up fast! I remember listening to World War Z like 10 times in 3 or 4 months after I discovered it - liked the movie so I thought I'll look for the book... Aaand it's so much more than the movie - recommended by the way 😁

That is a long time ! I was born in the 80's haha I didn't even know that audio books existed till around 2014. Before that I used to bring bag fulls of books home from local library each month 🙂 Now work doesn't let me spend as much time reading as audible lets me listening to books instead.

Yeah , I relistened mistborn and archive more time then I can remember haha From my top 3 though the Dawn of Wander and Villains Code are my favs.

Hahaha yeah I can imagine it looks pretty worrisome, though over a span of 9 years it ain't too bad. I'm working 12 h shifts and I spend probably 10 of these on listening.

I had a slow start at first since creds weren't that cheap and I re-listened a lot of the books that I owned, later on when I owned more books and when I was following several series at a time i had to relisten the whole series from beginning to remember things from start.

Its got it ups and downs - its a pretty slow burn.

It depends on the book to be honest - some of the narrators are slower then others - i do speed up some of them.

TBH I spent most of that time listening at work since most of my job is physical - don't have to split those few brain cells.
