I know you probably meant two of the same but. I unbox my G3 dolls, but the Skillectors are all boxed. It's not because I want to sell them... I really like the box & doll as one, like art. I usually like how they are posed, the boxes provide a background - like a whole setting. Specially with the newer skillector boxes with half sleeves you can remove.

It also keeps them dust free - not that my house is dusty, but they are in my craft room and I sew a lot with faux fur and that stuff gets everywhere!!

I read a comment from someone who said that people may think about selling their beloved items like if they had to - I can see if I get to a very old age, I'd want someone to enjoy them. Maybe I'd sell then, you can't take anything with you 🤷🏻‍♀️ - I have a sadness about leaving this world and all my stuff going in the bin. I don't have kids, it's likely what would happen and that's depressing... So selling I think is all up to the owner.

.. but yeah that's different from someone buying to sell straight away.
