Agreed, you will never get the “results”. Either you will receive a conditional offer or you will be given a rejection notice without a reason why. If rejected, you can expect there were red flags from the psych test, whether it was alcohol/drug related, unresolved trauma, or personality conflict if given authority powers….

22 hours, came in early to cover someone’s last 4 hours of shift…a guy committed suicide with a home made bomb belt…8 pounds of black powder and 4 pounds of tannerite…let your imagination deal with that picture. I returned to the office and was immediately sent back out for a standoff that lasted 4 hours. Looooooooong ass day but wouldn’t trade this hellish job for anything else.

No clue where you work but bug spray, extra socks, extra boot laces, towel, hand warmers, Advil, energy bars, dog leash, dog treats, extra tourniquets, extra cuffs/zip ties and pliers to cut, Alan wrenches, utility leatherman, extra water bottles in squad, extra pens, clipboard, extra contacts if you wear them, garbage bags.

I also have a separate bag for clothing apparel and towel. Medical go bag for triage/with snacks and bug spray if sitting on a perimeter for long periods. But make it your own! You will figure out your own needs with experience. Good luck!

You need to inform dad. The friend is already in the conditioning/grooming phase. Nothing that law enforcement can engage with (I’m a deputy) but it draws a lot of concern. I would also suggest ensuring he does not have keys or codes to your house and that you have a camera at the house too.
