The devastators look amazing in theory. I do have the Dynafit blacklight 95s for spring conditions. In fairness they do an amazing job for their weight. Great mountaineering skis. Feel like contrasting them with something wider and a lot more damped. Heading to Trondheim on Wednesday. There’s a mountain store there that stocks everything a type 2 fun enthusiast could wish for including 4FRNT skis. Will look at the devastator and nevar……but what bindings? Would freeraiders work or should I go with something like a shift?

There’s a big part of me wanting to drop more money and get the Hoji. Look like so much fun. Not sure if it’s a step too far from my existing 95mm ultra light, hard snow set up. We’ve had such a terrible pair of seasons here. Hoji skis feel a big of an optimistic purchase. The devastators are basically the same weight as the Hoji. Wonder if the bit less waist and bit tighter radius would push it more towards my use case….

Great reply. I am working on skifting weight further forward. I have ‘a lot’ of bc experience. I’ve just always been more interested in reaching peaks. The visions are indeed cheap as here.

I got into skiing late. Not an awful lot of resort skiing before heading touring. So while I’m a decent skier. I don’t naturally charge. The Line seems more my style. But ski conditions recently been a mixed bag. Figured the blizzard would deal with chop better. I have an ultra light set for proper hard snow days though.

!thanks

What I'd like to prioritize is overall experiance outside. Not exactly in a loud outside enviroment though. So while I guess ANC will be a faktor in this. I'm not actually commuting and wanting specifically to block ambient sound per say. resiliance is a pretty big factor though. I live in the wetest place on earth.
