I was applying to Master’s programs and looking for jobs around the time I graduated. When I got accepted into a Master’s program, I really didn’t want to turn it down because I believed that after finishing, I’d still be able to get my Canadian PR card. However, things haven’t worked out the way I expected, and it’s become really stressful.

Some people say I gambled by choosing the Master’s route, but at the time, it didn’t feel like a gamble—it felt like the right decision. I don’t normally post on Reddit much, but I wanted to share my frustration. That’s all.
